How to play

You scanned the card on the arcade or the console where you are staying. Here is how to start, and the two buttons worth knowing before you do. It takes about a minute to read and you will not need it twice.

Turn it on

The arcade cabinet has a power button on the unit. The console is the small box near the TV, and it has a power button on the front. If no picture comes up, switch the TV to the input it is plugged into.

There is no app to install and no account to sign into. Give it a moment and a list of games appears.

Wake up a controller

Turn one on with the switch on the bottom, then press Start to connect it. A solid red light at the top means it is connected. Do the same for a second controller.

Controllers drop into sleep quickly to save battery, so if yours has gone quiet, press Start to wake it. That is normal, not a fault.

Find a game

The games are grouped by the machine they originally came from, and there are more than 60 of those groups on here. Move left and right to change the group, then up and down to move through the games inside it. Press A to start one and B to go back. On the four lettered buttons under your right thumb, A is the bottom one and B is the one on the right.

The three things worth knowing

Put a credit in, on arcade games	SELECT
Choose a game, or go back	A, or B

HOTKEY + START is the way out of every game on here, so you never have to hunt through a game's own menus to leave. Hold them together for a second. It works from the first controller.

If something is not working, tell your host rather than unplugging anything. These units check in to us on their own, so we can usually look at it and repair it remotely without anyone coming out. Opening it up or resetting it is the one thing that turns a five minute fix into a real problem.

Playing against someone who is not in the room

Some of the games on here can be played online against someone on another one of these units, anywhere. Look for Outbreak Lobby among the groups: it lists what other people have running right now, and picking one drops you straight into their game. There is no account to make and nothing to set up.

This is the same unit you have been playing, sold direct by us. Everything arrives loaded and configured, there is nothing to download, and support comes from us for the life of the unit.
